As mentioned in the intro post, this site is intended to be a go to resource for all information pertaining to the Z7 bow. As such, this review is not based on personal experience of any one individual but has been compiled after much research on forums, blogs, e commerce sites, info sites, etc. Thus, what you read below is the general opinion of those who have used this compound bow. This information will be most useful to those who are currently considering to purchase the new Mathews Z7 compound bow but of course everyone who is interested in this bow will find this information very useful. The following attributes have been observed my most people who have had the chance to either test it or use it regularly
User Observations
- Most people say that the pull is the smoothest they have ever experienced
- The look of the riser is not at all popular but it does its job extremely well. Those who use it find that it grows on them and they don’t really care how it looks once they have shot some arrows with the z7 bow
- With the exception of a few, the majority finds this bow to be very quiet.
- Some people have mentioned that the Z7 has a nice wall for a solo cam.
- Again, this is another winner for the Z7. We have not found anyone yet who has to say that this bow vibrates. This bow is DEAD IN THE HANDS. The Dead End String Stop has been highly applauded for this.
- Some people have also applauded the reverse roller guard.
- The new grip on this hunting bow has been much welcomed among hunting fans
- The bow has been found to perform consistently for a diverse range of arrows.
- The bow is light however not as light as most people had anticipated. There are lighter bows on the market
